What needs to be done before arriving for a tune? add
Vehicle must be 100% mechanically sound. Verify there are no check engine lights (unless tuning related), no fluid leaks, and fresh spark plugs gapped for your boost level. If your car is turbocharged or supercharged, check for boost leaks (cracked hoses or loose clamps) before you arrive.
Do you build for forced induction? add
Yes. Forced induction builds are our specialty. We specify different piston materials, ring gaps, and head studs based on target boost levels and fuel types.
How long does a full calibration take? add
A standard single-fuel calibration typically takes 3-4 hours. Flex fuel vehicles or cars running standalone engine management with multiple maps (boost by gear, launch control, traction control) typically take 6-8 hours, billed at our hourly rate.
Do you tune carbureted vehicles? add
No. We specialize exclusively in modern Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) systems and standalone engine management.
