Vehicle readiness
Your vehicle must be mechanically sound before a tuning or dyno session: no active check-engine lights (unless directly related to the tune), no fluid leaks, fresh spark plugs gapped for your boost level, and no boost leaks on forced-induction cars. If your vehicle needs additional work to be dyno-ready, that's billed as an extra cost on top of the session price. The amount depends on the vehicle and the work required.
Pricing
Tuning is billed hourly, not as a flat-rate package. Final cost depends on the calibration complexity and time on the dyno. Engine building and transmission work are quoted against the actual condition of the block/case and the power goal, not a flat rate; final cost depends on what we find once it's opened up.
Deposits & scheduling
A minimum deposit is required to confirm and hold a dyno session appointment slot, subtracted from your final session cost. The deposit is non-refundable except for a legitimate emergency. If you don't show up without a real emergency, Johnny will select your reschedule date. If you miss that appointment too, the deposit is forfeited.
Liability
Motorsports and tuning activities carry inherent risk. JNOS Performance is not responsible for pre-existing issues or failures related to the condition of your vehicle. Scheduling and participation in Academy track sessions or race-prep coaching are contingent on meeting shop readiness requirements and, where applicable, a signed liability waiver completed before class.
Payment
This site does not process payment online. Submitting a quote, booking, or enrollment request through this site is a request only. It is not a confirmed, paid reservation until Johnny follows up directly to confirm the appointment and collect payment.
